Corvallis Ramey

Corvallis Weldon (C.W.) Ramey 79, of South Chesterfield, passed away Thursday February 26, 2015 at the Colonial Heights Health Care Center. He was born May 30, 1935 to the late Vennis Earl Ramey and Geneva Elizabeth Pointer Ramey, and was preceded in death two brothers Ennis W. Ramey and Varna Ramey. Mr. Ramey was a United States Air Force Veteran, a member of Woods United Methodist Church, and was the Owner and CEO of Commtronics of Virginia Inc. He is survived by his wife Gertrude Anne Ramey, sons; Dale W. Ramey, and wife, Debbie, Kevin E. Ramey, and wife Lisa, daughter Cynthia A. Benninghove, five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday March 2, 2015 in Woods United Methodist Church 7200 Hickory Road South Chesterfield, Virginia 23803 with the Reverend Joseph Carson officiating. Interment will follow in Dale Memorial Park Chesterfield, Virginia. The family will receive friends Sunday March 1, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory 2033 Boulevard. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Deaf Mission at First Baptist Church 2709 Monument Ave, Richmond, Virginia 23220.
