Creola Urban

Creola "Cre" Jones Urban, 92, of Dinwiddie, passed away Saturday, January 12, 2013. She was born November 1, 1920 to the late William B. and Emma Haden Lang. Mrs. Urban was a member of Matoaca Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, George Urban of Dinwiddie; children, June Mullen of Massachusetts and Angela Cridlin of Matoaca; grandchildren, Mary Buller, Shane Mullen, Patrick Mullen, Christopher Cridlin; six great grandchildren; sister, Nancy Kehoe of Chesterfield; and many devoted and loving nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 16, 2013 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, with Reverend Donald Joyner officiating. Interment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George. The family will receive friends from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home on Wednesday prior to the service. Flowers are welcome or contributions may be made to Crater Community Hospice 3916 S.
