Cynthia Owen "Kay" Haydt, 54, of Prince George, died Thursday, July 16, 2009. She was the daughter of the late Clyde A. and Aline Brockwell Owen. Survivors include her husband, William L. Haydt Jr.; son, William L. Haydt III of Prince George; sister, Nancy Owen Park and husband, Tom of DeWitt; brother-in-law, Bryant W. Haydt and wife, Rebecca of Prince George; sister-in-law Robin L. Kizer and husband, Steve of South Carolina; several nieces and nephews; also her Southside Oral Facial Surgery "family" of 23 years, Pat Neblett, Charlotte Hamby, KimVealey and the doctors of the unit. Funeral service will be held on Monday, July 20, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in the Petersburg chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory 3935 South Crater Road, with the Reverend Malcolm Hutton officiating. Entombment to follow, Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon 2-3:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
