Cynthia Kirk

Cynthia "Cindy" Bender Kirk, 47, of Colonial Heights, passed away on Sunday, June 5, 2011 in Johnston-Willis Hospital. Cindy was the co-owner of Wyatt's Florist. She was a florist, horticulturist, gardener and friend to plants and the world. She is survived by her beloved husband of 29 years, Conrad Barry Kirk; a devoted son, Conrad Bradley Kirk; her parents, James (Bud) and Thelma Bender of Prince George; a sister, Sandra (Sandy) Bender Harville and husband, Mark of Dinwiddie; her mother-in-law, Barbara Lee Kirk of Prince George; several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 8, 2011 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard with Deacon Edward Hanzlik officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. The family would like to thank the staff of the Women's Health Center at Johnston-Willis Hospital for their care and compassion provided to Cindy.
