Cynthia Packard

Cynthia Hansen Packard of Midlothian, born December 31, 1957; died August 20, 2009, after a long and courageous battle with cancer, fought with dignity and an unparalleled sense of humor. Cindy was very creative and is known for her jewelry design in this area. She was predeceased by her father, Jerome Hansen, and an infant daughter, Becky Lynn Porter. She is survived by her husband of ten years, David G. Packard; her mother, Becky F. Hansen; two daughters, Amber and Sara Hankins; her brother, Jerome (Chip) Hansen and his wife, Angie; three nephews and a niece; two brothers-in-law, Jim and John Packard; as well as a very dear and devoted friend, Mary H. Robertson. A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 26, 2009 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard with the Reverend Peggy Packard officiating. Interment Sunset Memorial Park, Chester. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
