Dale Church

Dale Franklin Church, 69, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 13, 2012. Born in Georgia, he was the son of the late Melvin D. and Louise Tillman Church. He retired from Philip Morris Tobacco Company. Dale was a loving and caring father, grandfather, brother and friend to all. He is survived by his beloved children, Michael Dale Church of Aylett and Annette Church Ahrend of Dinwiddie; grandchildren, Dustin Michalek and Brittany Ahrend; sisters, Pat Rainey, Phyllis Morris and Barbara Williams; many cherished aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Thursday, September 20, 2012 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard. Interment will be private.
