Dallas Gates

Dallas B. Gates, 76, of Colonial Heights, passed away on Sunday, December 5, 2010 at Colonial Heights Health Care Center. Mrs. Gates was preceded in death by a daughter, Yvonne G. (Bonnie) Rager, a grandson, Christopher Gates, and a brother, Leon Benfield. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Ronald T. Gates; a son, Keith R. Gates and wife, Patricia of Prince George; a daughter, Allison G. Krupp and husband, Bert of Colonial Heights; three grandsons, Kyle T. Krupp, Dylan J. Krupp and Mackenzie D. Krupp all of Colonial Heights; two granddaughters, Nicole R. Butt and husband, Aaron of Fork Union, and Erica-Leigh R. Rainey and husband, J.P. of Chesterfield; a great-grandson, Elijah T. Butt; a great-granddaughter, Alyssa Rackley. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 12, 2010 in Wesley United Methodist Church, 3701 Conduit Road, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834 with Reverend Deborah Fair officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Arrangements by the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard.
