Dalton Lee McGraw, 75, of Midlothian, VA, saddled up and rode into his final sunset on Thursday, December 24, 2020, after a long fight with ALS. After earning his B.S. in Accounting from Florence State/UNA, he served in the Army Reserves for 6 years. While serving, he began his 30-year career at Reynolds Metals Co. Dalton was a devoted father, grandfather, and Christian; serving his church family in many ways. With a love of exploring new places, he was able to achieve his lifelong dream of visiting all 50 states, with his last stop being Alaska. He was preceded in death by his father, Aubrey Lee McGraw; his mother, Annie Maud McGraw; and his brother, James Earl McGraw. Dalton will be lovingly remembered by his two daughters, Kristin Andrs (Allen) and Ashley McGraw; his granddaughter, Monica McGraw; and his great love, Rotha Smith. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 31, 2020 at Three Chopt Church of Christ, 9500 Three Chopt Rd, Richmond, VA 23229, with visitation to follow until 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the church by visiting https://threechopt.church/give or by texting any dollar amount to 84321.
