Daniel Lee Draucker Sr., 78 of Colonial Heights, passed away March 20, 2012 at the Colonial Heights Health Care and Rehabilitation Center. He was preceded in death by his parents C. Ray Draucker Sr. and Olivia Hawks Draucker, and a brother C. Ray Draucker Jr. Mr. Draucker was very proud to be a graduate of Benedictine High School. After graduation he went on to serve his country with the United States Army where he served in Germany. He was a retired salesman with Automatic Equipment Sales in Beltsville Maryland. Mr. Draucker was a member of the St. Ann Catholic Church, American Legion and the VFW. Dan had a beautiful voice and enjoyed being a member of the Southernaires and the St. Ann Bell Choir. He is survived by his wife Norma Collins Draucker of Colonial Heights, two sons Daniel Lee Draucker Jr., and wife Alice, of Chesterfield, Christopher Thomas Draucker and special friend Kelly Peterson of Raleigh North Carolina and many nieces and nephews. He also had a great love for his granddogs Zack and Jaxson. A Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, March 23, 2012 at St. Ann Catholic Church, 17111 Jefferson Davis Highway Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834, with Fr. Lou Ruoff Celebrant. Entombment to follow at Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George, Virginia. The family will receive friends Thursday March 22, 2012 from 6-8:00 p.m. at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory 2033 Boulevard.
