Daniel Kirk Newton, 54, of Colonial Heights, passed away suddenly on Friday, September 18, 2015. He graduated from Colonial Heights High School in 1980 and received his Master Plumbing Certification from John Tyler Community College. Mr. Newton was a proud owner of his own business, Newton's Plumbing. As an avid hunter and fisherman, he enjoyed being outdoors and also enjoyed watching NASCAR. He is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Courtney Newton; daughter, Olivia Newton; parents, Otis L. Newton Jr. (Pop) and Geraldine Newton; brothers, Otis L. Newton III and Gary A. Newton and wife, Yolanda; and a nephew, Alan Newton. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George, Virginia, with a funeral procession leaving E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834, at 12:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Colonial Heights Fire and EMS, P.O.
