David Barfield

David Lester Barfield, 54, of Cheriton, Virginia, formerly of Colonial Heights, VA, passed at his residence Sunday, September 6, 2009. A native of Colonial Heights, he is the son of James Roger Barfield, Jr. of Colonial Heights and the late Josephine Tuma Barfield. Mr. Barfield was retired from Philip Morris USA. Other than his father, survivors include a daughter, Jennifer Carol Fontaine and her husband Stephen of Colonial Heights, a son, Jonathan David Barfield of Harrisonburg, VA, three brothers, Keith Barfield of Colonial Heights, Ralph Barfield of Palmyra, VA and James Barfield, III of FL, a grandson, Gavin Fontaine of Colonial Heights. Mr. Barfield was predeceased by a brother, Kenneth Barfield. The family will receive friends Friday, September 11, 2009 from 7-8:30 p.m. at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E.
