David Jackson Grubb, 64, of Chesterfield passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2011. He was the son of the late Jackson B. and Ada Farley Grubb and a native of West Virginia. Mr. Grubb was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving with the United States Air Force and retired from Virginia Linen Service. Survivors include his wife, Tanom Grubb; two daughters, Milinda G. Butz and husband Michael of Florida, Julie G. Bennett and husband, David of Dinwiddie; son, Jack N, Grubb and wife, Lisa of Chesterfield; five grandchildren, Charles Roeth, Christopher Roeth, Shelby Hall, Jordan Grubb and Jacob Grubb; three sisters, Raney Wills, Melanie Miller and Melissa Johnson; three brothers, Michael Grubb, Thomas Grubb, and Rodney Grubb. A Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 12, 2011 in Southlawn Memorial Park with the Rev. Ronnie West officiating. Arrangements by the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Home and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard.
