David Jackson

David P. "Little David" Jackson Jr., 43, went to his eternal rest on March 11, 2013. Much happier outdoors exercising his 2nd amendment rights and doing things, his way, "Popie" will always be remembered for his love of life and practical jokes. David is survived by his wife, Carol Story "Puddin" Jackson of Carson; sons, David McCray and wife, Melinda, Brandon McCray; grandchildren, Taylor Wilkison, Faith McCray, Marissa McCray, Abigail McCray, and Maddyn Clara McCray; parents, David P. Jackson Sr., and Joan Jackson of Amelia; sisters, Melony Jackson, Jeanette Faye Pack and husband, Len of Cumberland, Jennifer Avelsgard; and numerous nieces and nephews that he will remain a celebrity as "Uncle David". A funeral service will held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 14, 2013 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory 2033 Boulevard with the Reverend Steve Gardner officiating. Interment will follow in Blandford Cemetery Petersburg, Virginia. The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 13, 2013 from 7-8:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Camo is not expected but respected.
