David Por

David Henry Por,74, of Chesterfield, passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his family, on Saturday, January 23, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, Don and Louise Por; sister, Kathy Vandenbrink; and brother, James Por.

David was a United States Army Veteran of the Vietnam War, and a retired estimator for Shoosmith Brothers.  He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Colonial Heights. David is survived by his wife of 50 years, Millie Katcham Por; children, Sandy Por Whiteside, Melanie Por and Kyle Por (wife, Jennie Bernardini Por); grandchildren, Kalie Por, Finley Por, chosen grandson, Gavin Marshall; sister, Linda Bol of MI and several nieces and nephews.  Due to COVID-19 no public service will be held.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to your local food bank.  Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Colonial Heights Chapel of E.
