David Lee Wrenn Jr., 38, of Chesterfield, passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2010. He was preceded in death by his maternal & paternal grandparents. David was a 1989 graduate of Thomas Dale High School in Chester, Va. He served for four years in The United States Navy on the USS Enterprise during Desert Storm, and was employed with Gaston Securities at the time of his death. David accepted Christ at the age of eleven and has now gone to be with his Lord and Savior. He is survived by his wife, Shannon Hamner Wrenn; a daughter, Zoey Leigh Wrenn both of Colonial Heights; a son, (Little Buddy) William David "Will" Wrenn of Williamsburg; a step-daughter, Brooke Flowers of Chester; his parents, Carol Wade and David Lee Wrenn Sr. of Chester; three sisters, Angela W. Mayton and husband, Dennis of Poole Siding, Tracy W. Adams of Colonial Heights, and Amy W. Spaulding and husband, Matt of Chester; several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 2, 2010 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard with the Reverend Dr. Randall Hahn officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends following the service.
