Dean Sapon

Dean Christopher Sapon, 40, of Colonial Heights, Virginia died on Saturday, July 19, 2008. He was born in Petersburg, Va., and was preceded in death by his father, John Sapon, grandparents, Constance and Gus Anthos, and Irene and William Sapon. Dean was employed by Gerdau Ameristeel Corp. He is survived by his mother, Margo Sapon; his brother and sister-in-law, William and Melissa Sapon; a niece, Abigail; aunt and uncle, Cleo and Gus Calos; godmother, Irene Calos, and cousins, Connie and Johnny Ray Williams, Stephanie and Chris Benjamin. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 24, 2008 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard with Fr. Jon Emanuelson officiating. Interment Sunset Memorial Park, Chester.
