Debra Weaver

February 4, 1954 — April 30, 2016

Debra Dale Weaver, 62, of Chester, Virginia died peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, April 30, 2016. She was born February 2, 1954 to Wesley Francis Pumphrey and Shirley Jane Pumphrey in Weston, West Virginia. Debbie enjoyed many adventures with her parents and two sisters as a military family. She loved having fun and helping others to have fun. She loved Jesus and she loved children, which is what compelled her to get her Teaching Certificate at the age of 60. She was a K3 teacher at Evangel Christian School. She enjoyed teaching children about the love that Jesus had for them and she showed them that love so beautifully. Debbie has had multiple jobs, and wore many hats, however, her greatest joy in life was in raising her three sons. Debbie was a kind, loving and devoted mother. Debbie is survived by her husband, Bruce Lee Weaver; her sons, Ralph Edward Hall III, Wesley Michael Hall and Bruce Lee Weaver, Jr.; her 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; her parents, Wesley Francis Pumphrey and Shirley Jane Pumphrey; and her sisters, Cindy Presley and Kimberly Mitchell. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 5, 2016 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard. Interment will follow in Dale Memorial Park, Chesterfield, Virginia. The family will receive friends Wednesday, May 4, 2016 from 7:00-8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
