Deenie Davis

Deenie Cole Davis, 85, of Prince George, passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2015 at her residence. Born on September 13, 1929 in Mecklenburg County, she was the daughter of the late Herbert G. and Addie Griffin Cole. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Edward Davis Sr. and a son, Charles B. ‘Chuck' Davis. Mrs. Davis was a member of Faith Baptist Church, Prince George. She is survived by two sons, Robert E. Davis Jr. and wife, Lynetta of Surry and Gary W. Davis and wife, Debbie of Prince George; two daughters, Mary Drumright and fiancé, Jorge Madrigal of Chester and Deenie Anderson and husband, John of Prince George; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; a brother, Wayne M. Cole of Chesterfield; and two sisters, Bertha Lampman of Martinsville and Mary Wray of Dinwiddie. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 27, 2015 at the Petersburg Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 3935 S. Crater Road. Burial will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2:00 p.m. Monday prior to the service at the funeral home. Flowers are welcome or contributions may be made to Crater Community Hospice, 3916 S.
