Deloris Slaughter

Deloris Lane Slaughter 69, of Colonial Heights died Tuesday November 4, 2008 at Southside Regional Medical Center, Petersburg. She was the daughter of the late Howard B. and Edith Seal Lane. Mrs. Slaughter retired from Titmus Optical after many years of service as a Lens Presser. She is survived by her husband of 45 years William G. Slaughter, a aunt Gladys S. Traylor her three angels Randy and Carolyn Slaughter and Debbie Hinton and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. A graveside service will take place 11:00 a.m. Saturday November 8, 2008 at Bermuda Memorial Park Enon, VA., with the Reverend Ivan B. Perkinson officiating. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the grave. The family will receive friends at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E.
