Deloris Szafranski

Deloris Ann Szafranski, 81, of Chester passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at her residence. Born July 5, 1937, she was the daughter of the late James W. and Dorothy V. Cordry. She was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church for over 20 years. Deloris loved to round dance, squaredance and clog with her husband, and also enjoyed traveling with her husband. She loved her family and enjoyed every moment she was able to have with them. She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Robert Chester Szafranski; children, Brian Szafranski and wife, Dixie, Scott Szafranski and wife, Kristie. Diane Case and husband, Brian, Cheryl Vaughan and husband, Garland, Kevin Szafranski and wife, Patricia; seven granddaughters, Jessica, Kathleen, Abigail, Theresa, Lydia, Lauren, Bailey; brother, Robert Cordry and wife, Patricia; beloved dog, Gidget; and numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family members. A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at St. Ann's Catholic Church, 17111 Jefferson Davis Hwy, South Chesterfield, VA 23834, with Father Danny Cogut officiating. Entombment will follow in Dale Memorial Park, 10201 Newbys Bridge Rd, Chesterfield, VA 23832. The family will receive friends one hour prior to mass from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. at the church.
