Denise Crowder

Denise Powers Crowder, 42, of Sutherland, passed away on Tuesday, February 16, 2010 surrounded by her family. She was the daughter of the late, Harold James Powers. Denise is survived by her daughter, Carrie Bolton; her mother, Jean Blackwell Powers; a brother, Dallas L. Powers and wife, Betsy; and a niece, Danielle L. Powers all of Sutherland. A funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday February 19, 2010 at Trinity United Methodist Church, 4814 Courthouse Road, Church Road, Virginia 23833 with the Reverend J. Paul Furrow officiating. Interment will follow in the Trinity United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E.
