Denise Phillingame

Denise Lynn Phillingame, 59, of Colonial Heights passed away Saturday, April 20, 2019. She was born on August 16, 1959 to the late John and Shirley Trovinger in Baltimore, Maryland and was the widow of Richard Stanley Phillingame. Mrs. Phillingame was a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church, Hopewell and was a former owner/operator at Marshall Cab Company. She is survived by her children, Christopher Oliver (Stacy), Desiree Poe (Steven), Matthew Oliver and Nick Oliver (Danielle); grandchildren, Bonnie, Cameron, Robert, Emily, Jack and Zoe; great-grandchild, Ryleigh; brother, John Trovinger (Jennie); sister, Jackie Cleaton (Bubba) and numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 26, 2019 at Merchants Hope Cemetery, Prince George, with Reverend George Lewis officiating. Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 25, 2019 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834.
