Dennis Doyle

Dennis Carroll Doyle went to be with his heavenly Father September 14, 2011. He was born in Tazewell County, Virginia on October 22, 1936 to the late Rex and Maude Doyle, and was preceded in death by a brother, Hubert R. Doyle. Mr. Doyle was a member of Chesterfield Community Church where he served as a Trustee and Deacon, and was a retired Master Plumber and Pipe Fitter. He is survived by his loving wife, Sharon H. Doyle; a son, Gregg A. Doyle and wife, Nancy; grandchildren, Christy and Robert Doyle all of Chester; stepson, James D. Trump of Colonial Heights; sisters, Charlene D. Wolfe and husband, Frank, and Martha McGeorge all of Vinton, Virginia. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, September, 16, 2011 in the Chesterfield Community Church, (Baptist Children's Home) 6900 Hickory Road, Petersburg, Virginia 23803 with the Reverend Gale Reggie Kirkman. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard. Additional services will be held in the Vinton Chapel of Oakey's Funeral Service & Crematory, 627 Hardy Road, Vinton, Virginia 24179. Interment Mountain View Cemetery, Vinton, Virginia.
