Dennis Nugent

Dennis Gilbert "Gil" Nugent Jr, 53, of Petersburg, died on September 25, 2009 at Southside Regional Medical Center. He was a 1974 graduate of Matoaca High School, and worked for Philip Morris. Mr. Nugent is survived by his parents, Dennis G. Sr., and Barbara Nugent; a brother, Wendell Grey Nugent; one aunt; two cousins; many friends; and his loving dog, King. He lived life to the fullest, loved to talk, and was an avid sports fan. The world will be a much quieter place with out him. A funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. September 30, 2009 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, with the Reverend Al Thorne officiating. Interment Blandford Cemetery, Petersburg, Va.. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, at the funeral home.
