Dennis Samuel Rainey Jr.

Dennis Samuel Rainey Jr., 53, of Henrico, passed away Monday, April 10, 2023. He was born March 29, 1970 to the late Dennis Samuel Rainey Sr. and the late Jeanne Seymour Rainey. Graduating from Colonial Heights High School in 1989, Dennis worked for several years at the Bike Pedaler in Colonial Heights with many friends remembering him as a BMX rider and always representing the bicycle shop in the yearly Christmas parade. He was the Vice President of Security for Broad Sky Management, working in the security field for 27 years. Known for his strong work ethic, "Still Winning" great sense of humor and never hesitating to do what was needed to take care of his friends and family.  He is survived by his brother David Rainey and wife Jackie; three sisters, Pamela Wade and husband Keith; Jennifer Keppler and husband Justin; Kelly Kilbourne and husband Matt; half-sister, Ashley Rainey; nieces and nephews Clint, Dale, Tiffany, Josh, Hannah, Jessica, Kaitlyn, Jake, Gracie, Amelia, Madison and Abby; great nephew Josh, Jr; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. The family would like to thank everyone for their condolences and have been comforted by the messages and kind words many of you have sent.
