Diana Ares-Frawley

Diana E. Ares-Frawley, 33, formerly of Petersburg suddenly passed away Friday, April 4, 2008 in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Diana was a 1992 graduate of Petersburg High School, and last worked at First Data in Virginia Beach. Diana is survived by her nine year old son ‘CJ' Cory Thomas; her parents, Linda and Luis Ares; her sister, Carmen White (husband Derrick) of Washington; brothers, Luis Ares, Jr. (wife Stacy) of Colonial Heights and Milton Ares (wife Jennifer) of Chester; extended family and friends, Philip and Ella Watts and family of Petersburg. Diana's feelings were ‘families are like fudge, mostly sweet with a few nuts.' The family will surely miss her visits and receiving big loving ‘bear hugs,' the wonderful hugs that she would give that made everyone feel special. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 11, 2008 in the Petersburg Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 3925 S. Crater Road, with the Rev. Barry Ginn officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
