Diane Painter

Diane Elizabeth Painter, 69, of Dinwiddie, died December 29, 2008 at Southside Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Painter was a United States Navy Veteran. She was the widow of Robert J. Painter Sr. Mrs. Painter is survived by her son, Michael Painter and wife Sheryl of Virginia Beach; a daughter, Pat Haughn and husband Richard of Texas; her step-children, Robert J. Painter Jr., Gary Painter and wife Linda all of Chesapeake, Linda Drever and husband Gary of San Antonio, Texas, and eleven grandchildren, Ashley Painter, Corey Painter, Chelsea Painter, Kevin Painter, Steven Painter, Brandon Painter, Crystal Painter, Chrissy Cobb, Kevin Drever, Linda Burton, and Brent Bushong; eight great-grandchildren and many special friends. A graveside funeral service will take place at 1:00 pm Monday, January 5, 2009 at Rosewood Memorial Park, 631 North Witchduck Road, Virginia Beach. The family will receive friends Sunday, January 4, 2009 from 2:00 to 3:30 pm at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard.
