Dilip Sen

Dr. Dilip K. Sen, 76, of Colonial Heights passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2013. He was the son of the late Edward Nelson Sen and Nirupama Biswas. Dr. Sen was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church and a retired professor at Virginia State University. He is survived by his wife, Bonosree Sen; daughters, Devyani Ghosh and husband, Soumajit of Morrisville, North Carolina, Bonani Langan and husband, Thomas of Morrisville, North Carolina and Indrani Agarwal and husband, Raj of Richmond; six grandchildren, Sonali, Anjali, Chetan, Divya, Suria, and Jaya; as well as numerous family members in India. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm. Saturday, February 16, 2013 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard with the Reverend Dr. Andy Brockelman. The family will receive friends from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. Saturday prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
