Dominick Ninio

Dominick James Ninio, 92, of Chesterfield, passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2009 at McGuire Veterans Hospital. He was the widower of Linden E. Ninio, and was preceded in death by a son, Keith W. Ninio. Mr. Ninio was a US Army veteran having served during WWII. He was a retired carpenter in the real estate industry. Mr. Ninio is survived by his children, Rose Medlin of Chesterfield, Larry A. Ninio of Powhatan, and James E. Ninio of Wakefield; grandchildren, Lexie, Kathy, Annie, Danny, and Linda; six great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Margaret Bradshaw of St. Louis, Missouri. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 6, 2009 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard with the Reverend Mike Lamphire officiating. Interment Blandford Cemetery, Petersburg. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
