Donald Carneal

Donald Warren "Duck" Carneal, 59, of Chesterfield, passed away on Thursday November 13, at his residence. He was preceded in death by his parents, Warren and Mary Beasley Carneal, and a brother Wayne. Duck as he was known by, served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, and was the recipient of the Purple Heart. He retired after thirty-four years as a truck driver. He is survived by his wife Sue, of 37 years; daughters, Christy, Stephanie, and Carol; brothers, Larry (Debbie), Steve (Teresa); sisters, Mary (Moody), and Debbie Sue (Charles), along with several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held,1:00 p.m.on Monday November 17, 2008 at Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George, with Pastor John Brothers officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday afternoon from 3-4:30 p.m., at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Home 2033 Boulevard, 23834.
