Donald Manning

Donald David "Duck" Manning, 77, of Matoaca, formerly of Iselin, New Jersey passed away on Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at Southside Regional Medical Center. Born in Newark, New Jersey, he was the son of the late, John J. and Doris Felter Manning. Mr. Manning was a member of the Seaside Heights, New Jersey American Legion Post #251, and St. Ann Catholic Church, Colonial Heights. He is survived by his wife, Geraldine Manning; a daughter, Karen Marie Henderson and husband, Wayne of Matoaca; a son, John Manning and wife, Mary of Brick, New Jersey; two grandchildren, Jenna Henderson and Joshua Manning; numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 18, 2014 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard with Fr. Lou Ruoff, Celebrant. Burial will follow in the St. Ann Catholic Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11:00 a.m. Monday prior to the service at the funeral home.
