Donald Wayne Ramsey

Donald Wayne Ramsey “Bubba”, 71, of North Dinwiddie, VA, went to be with his Heavenly Father on Thursday, January 9, 2025, after a long battle of heart disease, lung problems, and back trauma. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Huela C. Ramsey, Sr.; brother, Huela C Ramsey, Jr.; sister, Rita G. Patterson; and life-long best friend, Mike Pulliam. 

He leaves behind his loving mother, Eunice M. Ramsey “Marie”; his beloved wife, Betty M. Ramsey “Sissy” of 48 years; his loving daughter, Melissa M. Ramsey “Missy”; brother, Mark A. Ramsey; his grandchildren, Jonathon S. Ramsey “Buddy”, Mikayla “Lil foot” and Hunter Kunkel, Anna Mullins “Worm”, and Chance A. Harris “Hippie”; many beloved fur-babies; and numerous loving and caring family members and friends. 

Bubba retired as a paper cutter supervisor after over 30 years. He loved hunting and fishing, working on cars, being in his garage, and spending time with his family and friends. His biggest hobby was reloading bullets.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by the Crater Road Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes, Petersburg, Virginia.
