Doris F,. Burton, 81, of Chester passed away Friday, April 30, 2010 at Tyler's Retreat of Iron Bridge. She was the daughter of the late Ernest D. and Alice Boyd Fers and was preceded in death by her son, Randy Burton. Survivors include her husband, Wesley F. Burton Sr.; son, W. Floyd Burton Jr. of Chester; daughter, Janice Blakley and husband, Russ of Chester; grandson Kyle Rose and wife, Melissa of Chester; granddaughter, Kristal Rose and husband Michael Gonzales of Chester; great granddaughters, Kara and Cadence Rose. Funeral Service will be Monday, May 3, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the Colonial Heights chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Home and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard with the Rev. Pete Hypes officiating. Burial to follow in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon 2 to 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
