Doris Daniel

Doris Mears Daniel, 95, of Colonial Heights died Friday, April 25, 2008. She was the daughter of the late Frank P. and Maude Stevens Mears. Mrs. Daniel was the widow of Mason B. Daniel and was predeceased by two brothers, Ernest L. and Frank E. Mears, and a sister, Helen Mears Moosen. She is survived by a brother, Allen R. Mears of Colonial Heights; a sister-in-law, Marion S. Mears of Petersburg; numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Monday, April 28, 2008 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard with the Rev. Clayton Boyd officiating. Interment Blandford Cemetery, Petersburg. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
