Doris Lewis, 90, of Colonial Heights, Virginia, formally of Victoria, Virginia went to be with her Lord and Savior on October 15, 2024. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Norman Lewis, parents, Richard Milton and Mae Cordle; sons, Milton Jordan and Donnie Jordan; and four siblings. 

Mrs. Lewis is survived by her children, Debbie Buchanan (Montgomery) and Linda Owen; seven grandchildren, Kimberly Barber Baughan (Danny), Timothy Barber, Dorothy Winnie, Audra Dehart (Zach), Dawn Guy (Kari), BJ Buchanan, Keith Jordan; ten great-grandchildren, and eleven great-great-grandchildren.

She was a faithful Christian, devoted wife, amazing momma. 

She was virtuous, strong, and selfless. She loved her Lord and her family. She always had a smile and something going in the kitchen. She was wise, humble, faithful. 

A stranger to no one and a Nana to many, her life was spent nurturing all she met, the epitome of a Proverbs 31 woman. 

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, October 21, 2024, at Calvary Baptist Church, 17001 Jefferson Davis Hwy, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834 with Rev. Dr. Ray Haskett officiating. The family will receive guests beginning at 10 a.m., an hour prior to the service. A graveside service will take place at 2:30 p.m. Monday, October 21, 2024, at Lakeview Cemetery, 1105 Marshall Ave, Victoria, Virginia 23974. 

Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834.
