Doris Ragsdale

Doris Lipford Ragsdale 71, of Matoaca, died Saturday September 27, 2008 at Chippenham Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late, Charlie S. and Alma Mae Frith Lipford. She was retired from Brown and Williamson after twenty-seven years of service and was also retired from Maxium Medical after twenty years as a caregiver for the elderly. Mrs. Ragsdale is survived by five children, Jean Newcomb, Donald Williams, Mike Williams, David Ragsdale and Nancy Ragsdale. Also survived by seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. A funeral service will be Wednesday, October 1, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard with Pastor Rodney Jenkins officiating. Interment in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester, VA.
