Dorothy Grove

Dorothy M. Grove, 67, of Prince George, passed away on Sunday, April 20, 2014 at her residence. Born in North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late J. Houston and Vivia Stancil Miller, and was preceded in death by two brothers, Howard Miller and Thomas Braxton Miller. Mrs. Grove was a member of the Hopewell Church of the Brethren. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Donny "Dalton" Grove; her children, Bobby Lee Snotherly and fiancée, Kim Quick of Prince George, Angie Henry and husband, John of Prince George and Crystal Wright and husband, Jack of Petersburg; grandchildren, Danielle, Jennifer, Stephanie, Shane, Jessica, and Kayla; four great-grandchildren, Jeffrey, Gabriel, Angelina, and Addison; three nieces and one nephew. A funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at the Petersburg Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 3935 S. Crater Road with the Reverend Wayne Pennington officiating, with visitation to follow. Interment will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 24, 2014 at Harnett Devotional Gardens, 5665 Fairground Road, Dunn, North Carolina 28334. Condolences may be registered at www.ealvinsmall.com.
