Dorothy Ketcham

Dorothy Brockwell Ketcham, 87, of Colonial Heights, passed away on Friday, October 7, 2016 at the Colonial Heights Healthcare Center. She was the daughter of the late Ralph and Ida Mae Mann Brockwell and was also preceded in death by her husband, William W. Ketcham; a grandson, Reggie Ketcham; five sisters; and three brothers. She had been a cafeteria manager and worker for 50 years in the Colonial Height Public School system and was a longtime member of Covenant Presbyterian Church in Petersburg, VA. Mrs. Ketcham is survived by two sons, Ralph Ketcham and wife, Margueritte of Lady Lake, Florida, and William Ketcham and wife, Charlene of Chesterfield, Virginia. The family would like to thank the staff of the Madison Wing of Colonial Heights Health and Rehab Center for the care and support they provided. A funeral service will be held on 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 12, 2016 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Home & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard 23834, with the Reverend Dr. Sarah Nave, officiating. Burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Park, Chester, VA.
