Dorothy Mae Silvey, 94, of Prince George, passed away on Friday, April 27, 2012 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late George Lundie, the widow of Herman Silvey and was preceded in death by a son, Alfred Silvey. She is survived by her children, George Silvey and wife, Christine of Prince George, Kenneth Silvey of Texas, Mary Ayers of Manassas, John Silvey of Chesterfield, Alice Turpine and husband, Rick of Chesterfield; a daughter-in-law, Sandra Silvey of Colonial Heights; grandchildren, Judy Thornton, Richard Edwards, Albert Siechrist, Barbara & Mike Witt, Jill & Steven Jefferson, Glen Silvey, Tina & Bradley Phillips, Cheryl & Bruce Tanner, Keith Silvey, and Sherry Silvey; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. The funeral procession will depart the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. for a Graveside Service to be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 1, 2012 in Southlawn Memorial Park & Mausoleum, Prince George. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard.
