Dorothy L. Stewart, 78, of Dinwiddie passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at Southside Regional Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Alfred Jackson and Helen Edwards Lewis, and was also preceded in death by two sisters, Kathryn Budd, Lucille Lassiter and three brothers, Sterling Lewis, Cederic T. Lewis and Franklin Lewis. Dorothy enjoyed her time with family and friends and loved to play bingo. She is survived by her daughter, Sharon S. Taylor and husband, Keith of Prince George; son, Ronald W. Stewart of Dinwiddie; granddaughters, Ashley T. Smith and husband, Justin of Dinwiddie, Catherine B. Owen and husband, Brandon of Dinwiddie; grandsons, Jonathan B. Taylor of Chesterfield, Christopher B. Taylor and wife, Ashley of Waverly; great-granddaughters, Emily S. Wells and Rylan G. Smith of Dinwiddie; sisters, Shirley Burton and husband, Richard of Chesapeake, Virginia Savage and husband, Thomas of Suffolk; and numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 in Southlawn Memorial Park, South Prince George, Virginia with the Reverend Carol McCann officiating.
