Drewey Scarberry

Don Scarberry, 73, of Dinwiddie, VA passed away on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Born in Hopewell, VA he was the son of the late, Olen Garnett and Edna Mae Bryant Scarberry; and was also preceded in death by two sisters, Deanna Ballowe and Barbara Catron. Mr. Scarberry is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Mona Scarberry; a son, Tony Scarberry and wife, Angela; one daughter, Tonya Scarberry Naciri and husband, Jallal; four grandchildren, Colby, Rachel, Justin and Laith; one brother, James Scarberry; a sister, Ester Mac; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Crater Community Hospice for their care, love and compassion shown towards Mr. Scarberry and the Scarberry family during this difficult time. All services will be private. The family is being served by the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, VA.
