Dustin Reason

Dustin Craig Reason, who entered this world and made it a brighter place on July 31, 1989, went to his heavenly home on Friday, July 28, 2017. He is forever in the arms of his loving Father and is at peace. Dustin touched many lives with his kind heart, great sense of humor, and sensitive soul. His sharp wit produced many jokes over the years, and his laugh could fill a room. There was always a sparkle in his eyes, and he would go out of his way to help people. He loved all things LA Lakers, Pittsburg Stealers and playing video games. His regular commentary on these subjects always evoked both humor and discussion on social media. He loved his friends, and was very connected with so many from his youth group. He was able to show God's love to many people locally and overseas. Dustin is survived by his two sons, Jordan Craig (age 3) and Benjamin Craig (age 2), who both have Dustin's endearing smile. By God's grace, they will grow up to accomplish things that surpass even what their daddy could have imagined. Dustin had two leading ladies in his life- his mother, Penny Reason, and his sister, Kristin Reason Hilliard (and husband, Chase Hilliard). He is also survived by his aunts, Karen Reason, Robin Reason Hanna, and Teresa Goad; his father, Tim Goad; and his grandparents, John Reason, Jr., and Henry and Nancy Goad; his uncles, Ron Reason, Bryan Reason (and wife, Bethany), Dave Goad, Wayne Goad (and wife, Kim); and his cousins Mark, Kenny, Avery, and Nathan. He is preceded in death by his beloved grandmother, Margie Reason; they are united eternally in the presence of God. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at Clover Hill Assembly of God 12310 Bailey Bridge Road Midlothian, Virginia 23112. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends Friday, August 4, 2017 from 7:00-8:30 p.m. at the Church. Funeral arrangements by the Colonial Heights Chapel of E.
