M. Earl Faison Sr., 62, of Colonial Heights, passed away on Saturday, August 31, 2013 at his residence. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles O. and Billie Williams Keeter. Mr. Faison was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Colonial Heights. He retired in 1998 from UPS, after 25 years of service, as a delivery driver, and more recently worked as an estimator for Russell Fence Company, until his decline in health. He is survived by wife of 43 years, Judy H. Faison; a daughter, René Cassort and husband, David of DeWitt and a son, Jay Faison of Colonial Heights; a granddaughter, Kaitlyn Cassort; a sister, Nancy Van Horn and husband, Edward of Cortland, Ohio; three brothers, Dean Keeter and wife, Pat of Courtland, Rae Keeter and wife, Betty and Keith Keeter all of Franklin; his mother-in-law, Edna Brockwell of Colonial Heights; special friends, Buddy & Margaret Smith; numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 4, 2013 in Faith Baptist Church, 1226 W. Roslyn Road, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834 with the Reverend Eugene Ballance officiating. Entombment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard.
