Earl Lutterman

Earl Allen Ray Lutterman, 83, of Matoaca, passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2015 at his residence. Born in Minnesota, he was the son of the late Henry H. and Bessie Cooper Lutterman; and was also preceded in death by his loving wife, Gwendlyn W. Lutterman. Mr. Lutterman was a member of Chesterfield Community Church. He retired from Honeywell as a Supervisor, and had also served as Captain of the Ettrick-Matoaca Volunteer Rescue Squad. He was a certified EMT and an avid fisherman. Mr. Lutterman is survived by his three daughters, Carmelita L. Beasley and husband, Dennis of Fredericksburg, Cherlyne L. Burton and husband, Ed of Matoaca and Caronel L. Woodring and husband, Wayne of Missouri; eleven grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; three great great-grandchildren; one brother, Fred Lutterman and wife, Kathleen of Dillwyn, Virginia; and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 28, 2015 at E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834, with the Pastor Jim Burton, officiating. Entombment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 27, 2015 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Crater Community Hospice, 3916 S.
