Earl Wells

Mr. Earl O. Wells Sr. was called home on October 12, 2011. Mr. Wells lived a blessed 88 years. He is survived by his loving wife of nearly 62 years, Maggie L. Wells; his devoted children, Earl Wells Jr. and wife, Ann, Bonnie Lawson and husband, Jim, and Cindy Meyers and husband, David. His son, David Wells was called home in 2010 (what a joyous reunion they are having.) Other survivors include his sister, Carolyn Youmans and brother, Howard Wells Jr.; as well as being blessed with many grandchildren; and great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 15, 2011 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard with the Reverend Carol McCann and his grandson, Derek Meyers officiating. Interment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
