Edith Ricks

Edith Bish Ricks, 77, of Colonial Heights, passed away Tuesday, August 7, 2018. She was born in Richmond, Virginia to the late Edward and Helen Bish on November 10, 1940. Edith was proud to have raised her granddaughter, Selena, and enjoyed visiting her family in Florida. She also loved spending time with her dog, Gizmo. Edith was preceded in passing by her brothers, Johnny and Herbert Bish; daughter, Linda Sale; son, William Garrett; and nephew, Wayne Bish. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, John Ricks, Jr.; son, James Garrett (Julie); granddaughter, Selena Huck (David); great-grandson, Nicolas Huck; niece, Karen Bish; nephew, John Bish, Jr.; great-niece, Tiffany Bish; and sister-in-law, Phyllis Bish. A graveside service will take place at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 10, 2018 at Blandford Cemetery, 319 S. Crater Rd., Petersburg, Virginia 23803. Arrangements made by the Colonial Heights Chapel of E.
