Edna Reid

Edna Kathleen Reid, 85, of McKenney passed away on Monday, November 11, 2019. Born January 6, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Shelley Watson and Stella Moore Boothe, and was also preceded in death by her husband, John William Reid; and her grandson, John William “Dakota” Reid. She is survived by her sons, John Gary Reid and wife, Becky, John A. Reid and wife, Stephanie; daughter, Diana Leigh Strubel; grandsons, Christopher Allen Farmer and wife, Tammy, John Leonard Reid and wife, Anna, John Westley Reid and wife, Renae, Noah Allen Reid, Sam Tillett and wife, Mati, Andrew Tillett; granddaughters, Stephanie Gwen Petery and husband, Rick, Mary K. Foor and husband, John, Magan Marie Farmer, Kathleen Reneé Strubel, Allyson Marie Hodges and husband, Mason, Hannah Reid, Shahnaz Vellani; eighteen great-grandchildren, Christian Manning, Tori Hill, Tatum Farmer, Ericka Petery, Kile Barron, Fallon Penn, Kaitlyn Barron, Aden Penn, Gavin Strubel, Gage Farmer, Diana King, Victoria King, Bailey Petery, Emma Foor, Colton Foor, Kade Hodges, Sonya Bodnarik, Chloe Reid; great-great granddaughter, Addie Johnson; and other extended family members. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 18, 2019 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard. Interment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park, S. Prince George. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon, November 17, 2019 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
