Edward Course Sr.

Edward La Course Sr., 84, of Petersburg, passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2009 at Southside Regional Medical Center. He was the son of the late Uric and Glovina Beaules La Course, and the widower of Mildred W. La Course. Mr. La Course is a retired Army veteran having served during WWII. He is survived by his sons, Edward La Course, Jr. and wife, Kong Soon of Newport News, Richard Wayne La Course and wife, Cathy of Macon, Georgia, James Ray La Course and wife, Connie of Richmond, and John Emil La Course and wife, Deborah of Macon, Georgia; One sister, Margaret Belliveau of Achusnet, Massachusetts; five grandsons, one granddaughter, two great-grandson, three-great-granddaughters; numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 11:00am Friday, May 8, 2009 in the Petersburg Chapel of the. E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 3935 S. Crater Road with Fr. Lou Ruoff as Celebrant.
