Edward Hawkins

Edward Keith Hawkins, 47, of Nashville, Tennessee and formerly of Matoaca, Virginia, died Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at his residence. He was born in Petersburg and was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley A. Eanes Hawkins. Keith was a Research Chemist for Vanderbilt University in Tennessee. He is survived by his father, Edward B. Hawkins; a sister, Robyn R. Guzzo; a niece; Sarah N. Guzzo all of Colonial Heights; and his grandmother, Lilly Eanes of Matoaca. A memorial service will be Monday, November 14, 2011 at 7:00p.m. in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard with the Rev. Jim Reeves officiating. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home prior to service.
