Edward Peaden

Edward F. Peaden, 72, of Hopewell, passed away on Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at his residence. Born in Greenville, North Carolina, he was the son of the late Willis F. and Katie Rouse Peaden. He is survived by his wife, Peggy Little Peaden; four daughters, Vicki P. Sanford and husband, Alvin of Hopewell, Sharon Peaden-Goulder and husband, David of Prince George, Tammy P. King and fiancé, Kerry Smith of Prince George, and Lisa Peaden and fiancé, Ray Acord of Hopewell; ten grandchildren, Melissa and husband, Jerry, Kimberly and husband, John, Adlai, Ashley and husband, Brandon, Christopher, Derek, Katie, Kaitlyn, Adrienne, and Garrett; three step-grandchildren, Ashley and husband, Steve, Kaylee, and Nathan; three great-grandchildren, Collin, Carter, and Alexsis; three brothers, Willis Peaden and wife, Polly, Emmett Peaden and wife, Glenda, and Gene Peaden and wife, Ellen all of North Carolina. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Friday, January 28, 2011 in the Petersburg Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 3935 S. Crater Road with the Reverend Roger Peaden officiating. Interment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
